At Fastech Motorsports, we are proud to say that we have one of the top of the line facilities in and around East Tennessee.   We opened our doors to the public in 2004 upon seeing the need for a specialized sport compact performance oriented shop.  Other shops in the area offered body kits and dress up accessories but failed to provide an environment or in house services for performance oriented enthusiasts.   As these photos indicate, our customers enjoy access to specialized lifts, tools, and equipment to weld, fabricate, develop, and repair most any job facing our customers.  In house, we have performed SR20 swaps in Nissan 240SX, B16, B18, LS/VTEC, B20 VTEC, H22, H23, etc.  into all types of Hondas, 2JZGTE Twin Turbo Aristo swap in Lexus SC300.  We can custom fabricate exhausts and intakes, front mount intercoolers, and perform complex wiring operations to make all your accessories work.

Mark Remick ... owner of Fastech Motorsports, has 10 years experience modifying and building sport compact cars.  His experience comes from owning a number of cars including his current Subaru WRX, Nissan 240sx, and Toyota MR2 Turbo.   Certified as a standalone engine management tuner, he completed classes at EFI University at Dyno4mance in Calhoun, GA.  He has extensive tuning time with AEM, Hondata, Chrome, Uberdata, Apexi Power FC, Turbo XS UTEC, Apexi SAFC.  Most cars can be tuned with base maps he has developed working on other cars.  At Fastech, he is the lead technician, welder, and fabrication specialist with the ability to TIG Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.  If you have an idea and its remotely possible to achieve, Mark can find a way to make it a reality. 

• His accomplishments include building a 10 second street WRX.  Making 700+ whp, this car has captured the Power Street Championship for 2006 in the NDRA Racing Series.  Mark has rewired 2005 Acura RSX to accept  a 2002-2004 AEM Engine Management System and made all the accessories  (ie a/c, intermitent wipers, speedometer, temperature gauge, cruise control, etc.) function properly.  Not even AEM themselves current offer an engine management system for this particular application.  Similarly, he rewired a  1998 Subaru Impreza to accept a AEM Engine Management system for the Subaru Impreza WRX from 2002-2006.  Needless to say, Mark is a virtual master of making your swap and accessories function as the factory intended.  Recently, he tuned a Toyota Supra Single Turbo with an AEM Engine Management System that laid down 640whp at 25 psi of boost on 100 octane fuel.   His biggest accomplishment to date is building Fastech from an operation out of his garage annoying his neighbors to a full time performance mecca offering a range of options to local sport compact enthusiasts. 

Kris Miracle... associate technician and a specialist in Honda performance, has 12 years experience modifying and building various Honda vehicles.  He has participated in a number of projects which have widened his scope to include knowledge in building and modifying Dodge SRT4 Turbos, Nissan SR20 powered 240SXs, 1jhead/2jbottomend Hybrid Swaps into Lexus SC300, 2jzgte into Lexus SC300, as well as many others.  His focus remains Honda Tuning and Performance.  His Honda Accord has been turbocharged and daily driven for over 5 years showing the amount of meticulous pride and conscience he puts into his work.  From building Honda performance engines to knowing the necessary ingredients to fulfill a particular swap, Kris has an incredible base of knowledge in the sport compact market available to the consumer.  

• His accomplishments include crew chief and traveling mechanic with the Fastech Subaru WRX.  Kris has dedicated his time and skills most weekends in different parts of the country traveling with the team and providing a backbone for dependibility and round by round preparation for the car.  Under his direction, the car has only failed to compete in 1race in the 2006 NDRA Racing season.  He been an invaluable assistant to Mark in working diligently towards critical deadlines.  Perhaps the most particular in his work patterns and ethics, he is often employed to clean up problem areas of wiring and provide specific advice on troublesome fabrication issues.  He has displayed an increasing knowledge about engine management tuning specifically geared more towards Honda performance.

Chad Smith...associate technician and a specialist in Mitsubishi performance, has 12 years experience modifying and building various AWD turbocharged vehicles.  As a former shop owner himself, he has a wide array of knowledge about modifying various cars.  His focus remains AWD Trurbo Tuning and Performance.  He currently owns a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse AWD Turbo which has been menacing the tracks and streets for 3 years showing the hardcore performance and bang for the buck DSMs offer enthusiasts.  From building Mitsubishi performance engines to knowing the necessary ingredients to make your Evolution VIII, IX, 3000GT/Stealth, Chad has the ability to produce results as time has proven.  

• His accomplishments include building several 7 second 1/8th mile AWD Turbocharged vehicles.  In 2002, he held the record for the most horsepower out of a Subaru WRX at 389 whp without the assistance of nitrous.  He As well as modifying cars, he has developed, designed, and maintained all internet media related to Fastech Motorsports.  From the website, to pictures, to the Myspace page, to videos, etc., Chad continues to hone his online skills by increasing our online presence.

Captain Jack Roush...associate technician and a specialist in the field of FORD MUSTANG performance, has a massive  942 years experience modifying and building various specialty ford vehicles.  As a multiple Nascar Team owner himself, he has a wide array of knowledge about modifying various cars.  He can clean like no other.  His calling in life seems to be moping, as he does an extraordinary job at it particularly.  

• His accomplishments include fulfilling the appetites for the fat boys at Fastech with appropriate fat boy snacks from the local Pilot in the wee hours of the morning.  He did a particularly nice job with the simple green on mark's recent underhood disaster and has apparently learned the new skill of polishing.  He takes alot of ribbing and puts up with way too much junk from all of us.  We like him. (not really, but  we had to find something nice to say about him to fill up this spot otherwise we may not be able to snake any more free labor from the poor lug)  Anyways, we feel somewhat confident that he is good at something else too.  We just don't exactly know what yet.  But don't you worry about it.
